Looking for genuine, local honey that you can't find in supermarkets? You've come to the right place!
Our Las Vegas Valley apiary is home to wild honeybee hives we've relocated from the Las Vegas Valley and Pahrump Valley.
Savor the Unique Flavors of the Mojave & Great Basin Desert
Our honey offers a delightful mix of flavors, all thanks to the one-of-a-kind characteristics of the Mojave & Great Basin deserts.
As a result of this diverse diet, our Raw Honey can take on different colors, tastes, and textures, each as delightful as the last.
Darker honey tends to have a deeper, richer flavor, thanks to the minerals in the nectar collected by the bees. Remember the old saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover?" Well, in the case of honey, the darker the color, the more nutritional value it boasts!
But it's not just about the location – our experienced beekeepers are passionate about crafting the highest quality honey. They use time-tested techniques to create pure, raw honey that's simply bursting with natural sweetness.
Quality and Safety You Can Count On
We know how important quality and safety are when it comes to honey. That's why we're proud to say our honey is certified and meets top-notch food safety standards, ensuring you get the best raw local honey.

24 Ounces of Pure Las Vegas Local Honey
At Vegas Bees, we're not just passionate about the taste and quality of our raw honey; we also care deeply about the health and safety of our customers.
We want to remind you that honey can pose serious risks for young children. Babies under one year of age should never have honey, and we strongly recommend against giving it to children under two.
The reason for this caution is that honey may contain bacteria leading to infant botulism, a dangerous type of food poisoning that can be life-threatening and irreversible.
So, to keep your little ones safe, please ensure your honey is stored away from their reach.
Who says honey has a shelf life? Not Vegas Bees!
Our superior quality raw honey is good as gold (literally) and won't spoil at room temperature. However, to keep it at its finest, we recommend keeping it sealed and away from sunlight.
And if it starts to crystallize (which is totally normal), don't worry! Just give the container a hot water bath, and it'll be good as new. We suggest using hot water, just before it simmers.
So go ahead and stock up on our delicious raw desert honey - it'll last for months and months (just like it did in King Tut's tomb!)
Vegas Bees sells raw, cloth-filtered, pure local honey harvested from their beehives in Las Vegas, Pahrump, and the Great Basin Desert. We use cheesecloth to filter any wax or impurities from the honeycombs.
The price range for our honey is $15 for half pint and $25 for a one pint container.
Unfortunately, due to safety concerns, we do not offer beehive visits or tours. This is because there are so many bees!
Our honey is harvested using a bee-friendly method that involves removing the frames of the honeycomb from the beehive and then spinning the honey out of the comb. This process ensures that the bees are not injured in any way. Read about Honey Production.
While our honey is not certified organic, it is produced using sustainable beekeeping practices that prioritize the health and well-being of the bees. They fly freely throughout Las Vegas, Pahrump, and the Great Basin Desert, collecting pollen and nectar where they find it.
You should store raw honey at room temperature in a cool, dry place. It should not be refrigerated, which can cause the honey to crystallize.
Honey is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals and has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It can help treat coughs, colds, and many people combat allergies using our raw honey sourced from Las Vegas. Our deserts have some potent pollen!
This is the medical consensus we have found while researching honey benefits.
While Vegas Bees honey is generally safe for people with allergies, it is essential to note that it may contain trace amounts of pollen from other plants, which could cause an allergic reaction in some individuals.
You can contact Vegas Bees at (702) 472-3869 or our website contact page. We are always available to answer questions about our honey, beekeeping methods, or honey bees and bee removal.
Here's a general nutritional breakdown for one tablespoon (21 grams) of raw honey:
It's important to note that honey is a source of sugars and should be consumed in moderation.
It's also worth mentioning that raw honey contains small amounts of antioxidants, enzymes, and other beneficial compounds that may not be present in processed honey.
However, these are not typically included in a standard nutritional breakdown.
The Great Basin Desert is not just a desert; it's a magnificent canvas of biological diversity and, for our bees, an alluring playground.
This temperate desert is known for its hot, dry summers, and snowy winters. It spans large portions of Nevada and Utah and extends into eastern California. The diversity of this land doesn't just end there.
The Great Basin is one of the four biologically defined deserts in North America, joining the ranks of the Mojave, Sonoran, and Chihuahuan Deserts. Each of these deserts brings its unique flair, but there's something undeniably special about the Great Basin.
This vast region is home to a variety of fauna and flora, providing our bees with a veritable buffet of nectar sources.

We don't sell our honey at the Las Vegas farmer's market due to time constraints. However, we take great pride in the quality and authenticity of our honey and in providing our customers with the best possible product.
People usually go there to get local food products, farm fresh eggs, local honey, bee pollen, and beeswax candles. Since we don't sell most of those items, this is another reason for us just to visit and check out the goods. We love strolling and people watching.
The Las Vegas farmer's market is good fun, and we have a great time buying more than selling. Whether you are a Las Vegas resident or a tourist, check out the farmer's market.
