How should I store my honey?
Raw honey should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry place. It should not be refrigerated, as this can cause the honey to crystallize.
Honey warning with children
We want to remind you that honey can pose serious risks for young children. Babies under one year of age should never have honey, and we strongly recommend against giving it to children under two.
The reason for this caution is that honey may contain bacteria leading to infant botulism, a dangerous type of food poisoning that can be life-threatening and irreversible.
