Eventually, they will return to the spot where you previously removed the bees.
I would love to tell you that they would never come back. However, that is not our experience. The silver lining is that they may just come to check it out and leave soon after.
When the bees make a hive, it will always leave a traceable mark for other bees.
Not that this was intentional, but the smell of where a bee hive was can be detected easily by the bees. We must remember that their sense of smell is powerful.
When we rescue a hive, we remove all the wax, comb, and everything that we can scrape away. Therefore, there will always be even a tiny trace of bees in that area. Rest assured that the bees we do remove from your house will not return. They will be going away from the area ultimately.
However, another swarm of bees could move in at any time.
We guarantee our work and clean up the area well. We do everything we can to seal up where the beehive is and prevent other bees from moving in—depending on where the hive is also a factor if the bees return to that area.
If the hive was in a location we could fill in; they would not return to that spot. We won't allow room for them to make any combs. That secret weapon prevents the bees from moving back into the area where others had been removed.
It's all about sealing up the area so they can't reuse it.
It's not unusual to see bees that may come to the area we just removed the colony.
They're just smelling out the old hive that was there previously. It doesn't mean they are ready to make a new hive in that spot. They are just curious and trying to understand why that smell is there.
We rarely will get a call after a beehive removal that the bees come back to that spot and they're starting to make another hive.
This is because we are so thorough with removing all traces of the previous hive. However, if this were the case and a swarm did go to that location, we would remove them for free. So we're serious when we say our work is 100% guaranteed.
If you need a bee removal service in the Las Vegas and Henderson areas, we would love to come and remove your bees and hives.
