Honey Garlic Chicken Wings – Sticky, Finger-Lickin’ Delicious

Honey Garlic Chicken Wings

When it comes to finger food, nothing beats a platter of homemade wings glazed in rich, golden honey and garlicky goodness.

These wings are sticky, sweet, and savory with just enough oomph to make you keep reaching for "just one more."

And let’s be real — when you’re using local, raw honey from Vegas Bees, you're not just making wings... you’re making magic.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings (drums and flats)

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, but adds a nice depth)

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • ½ cup Vegas Bees raw honey

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium is fine)

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, if you like a little kick)

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Wings:Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels — this is key for getting that golden, crispy skin. Toss them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.

  2. Bake:Arrange the wings in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until they're crispy and cooked through.

  3. Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute — don’t burn it!).Stir in the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes, stirring often, until slightly thickened.

  4. Toss and Glaze:When the wings are done, toss them immediately in the warm honey garlic sauce until coated all over. If you want them extra sticky, you can pop them back in the oven for 5 minutes after glazing.

  5. Serve:Pile them high on a plate, sprinkle a little chopped parsley or sesame seeds if you’re feeling fancy, and dig in. Don’t forget the napkins — things are about to get deliciously messy!

Quick Tips:

  • Want even crispier wings? Broil them for the last 2–3 minutes of baking — but keep an eye on them!

  • Make extra sauce if you love your wings extra saucy (trust me, you’ll want to).

  • Leftovers? Warm them up in the oven, not the microwave, to keep the skin crisp.

These wings are a total showstopper for game nights, backyard cookouts, or just treating yourself after a long day.

Using our Vegas Bees honey makes all the difference — it caramelizes beautifully, has a deeper flavor, and you can taste the sunshine and desert wildflowers in every bite.
